Michelle / Blog as a "hot" spot - my Web pick of the month!
The original concept of a blog, I believe, was to be an on-line diary. Remember at the end of the Doogie Howser, MD TV show when Doogie would enter his thoughts for the day on his PC (yeah, I’m dating myself). The “journal/blog” has come a long way! There now seems to be a blog about anything and everything – some are funny, some are serious, some try to express opinions, some offer info on businesses and expertise, while some want to just share something with the rest of the world while in some respects, and unknowingly, promoting what they are discussing. Michelle / Blog as a "hot" spot - my Web pick of the month!
My pick of the month does just that and of course does it well! Algarve Buzz is a site that does everything a great blog/journal should do – it is enticing with its alluring photos, custom header, shell and well thought out sections. Each posting allows the site visitor to experience Algarve through its beautiful photos of locations, food and drink that entice one to explore further and discover more about Algarve.  Each entry is a little bit educational, experiential and friendly – with little hot links to guide you to other places that are relevant to the main site and to Alrgarve. The writer gives you great tour of Algarve through this site, by providing not only information in the entries, but also additional tid bits through links to popular posts, photos on flicker, recipes, wines and more! This site is a destination and by the time you have explored this site – you too will know where Algarve is...and like me, you’ll want to go there!
